Günümüzde plastik her yerde. Çevremizde, evimizde, denizde, havada, hatta yemeklerimizin içinde. Buna ek olarak doğaya attığımız plastiklerle ona yeterince zarar vermiyormuşcasına, yine doğanın bize cömert hediyeleri olan ağaçları da hunharca kesiyoruz. Haritalardaki yeşilliklerin azalışını fark etmek artık hiç güç değil. Göz ardı ettiğimiz bir şey var: doğanın bize verdiği olanakların sonsuz olmadığı. Eninde sonunda doğanın bize sunduğu ağaçların hepsini kesmiş olacağız. Elimizde kalan tek şey ise geçmişte geri dönüştürebileceğimiz ancak buna rağmen doğaya attığımız, metal, plastik ve kâğıt olacak. Bunlar ile bir ağaç oluşturmaya çalıştığımızda fotoğrafta gösterildiği gibi görünür. Şu an elimizde olan o yemyeşil yapraklı ağaçların yerini tutmuyor değil mi? Cansız, çirkin ve bir çöp yığınına benziyor. Bu nedenle bir an önce gidişatın ciddiyetinin farkına varıp doğaya verdiğimiz zararları en aza indirmeye çalışmalıyız.

Nowadays, plastic is everywhere. In the environment, in our homes, in the sea, in the air, and even in our food. As if we were not hurting mother nature enough with the plastics we throw everywhere, we cruelly cut lots of trees. It is not good to see all the green places on the maps disappear. There is one thing we are overseeing, though, and it is the fact that nothing is infinite. Eventually, we will run out of trees to cut. All we have left will be the plastics, metals, and paper that we should have recycled, but instead, we threw them all away. What will happen if we try to create a tree using these materials, it is shown in the picture. It doesn’t look like the trees we know, do they? It seems like nothing more than a piece of garbage. Hence, we should try to stop hurting the environment as much as possible.
